John Deere timber waste compressor 1490D packs the cutting waste into compact packs, which are easily transportable to recycling plants. One such pack contains 1 Mwh of energy.

Since 1992 the company Pentin Paja Oy has manufactured its Narva-Grip, which is a combination of felling head and grapple. Several various models can be offered for accessory from smallest forwarder mounted loader to big harvester cranes. Common for all Narva Grip products is that the cutting is performed with a patented, extremely strong guillotine cutting unit, which is made of high quality metal and is durable against stone impacts and sand damages. Narva Grip products may be used also under snow and moss layers and provides decreases the stump height to the minimum.
